This black beer reminds us of a dark period in the history of the town of Asbestos - the strike of 1949. This was one of the biggest and most important strikes in the history of Quebec, and a key episode in the emancipation of the working class. Our 1949 Milk Stout, with aromas of chocolate and roasting, has a nice sweet side, well-balanced with the slight bitterness of coffee.
