In 1931, the continued expansion of the mine crater led to the first Bill of Expropriation. This was a common feature of surface mining, in which local people were forced to sell their land to the mining company. L'Exproprié is a Belgian-style dark beer with discreet aromas of toast, caramel, dates and candied fruit. With its pleasant roundness, it is, in short, a well-deserved light dessert!
A bistro-style cuisine featuring regional products and craft beers produced on-site. A friendly place to relax and meet friends, inspired by the industrial past of the Jeffrey Mine.
